BNDES said it has approved BRL1.04bn ($315m) in financing for three wind power projects in northeast Brazil.
The national development bank will lend BRL486m to the local subsidiary of EDF Energies Nouvelles, the renewable energy division of French utility company EDF, to build four wind farms in the state of Bahia with an installed capacity of 117 MW.
BNDES will also provide BRL308m to the local division of Italy's Enel for three wind farms in Bahia with 96 MW in installed capacity, the bank
