Brazil’s former Finance Minister Antonio Palocci has received a 12-year prison sentence for corruption and money laundering charges in connection with the Lava Jato corruption investigation.Palocci, a founding member of the Workers' Party, served as finance minister from 2003 to 2006 during the first term of former President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.
