Chile’s central bank said it has kept its monetary policy rate unchanged at 2.5% for the third month in a row. The central bank's decision comes despite inflation remaining steady at 1.7%, unchanged from last month and still below the target range of 2% to 3%.  For the first five months this year, Chile eased interest rates by 100bp, but the current holding cycle has not come unanimously. One member of Chile's monetary policy committee is understood to have favored a 25bp cut last month. Next
