Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV) has signed a $209m project financing package with Bancomext, ING and KfW, a source familiar with the transaction said.
Proceeds will fund the construction of a 300 MW solar power plant in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. FRV won the contract to build the facility in September 2016, during the country's second long-term power auction.
Sources declined to disclose further details of the debt financing.
