Banreservas, already the largest bank in the Dominican Republic, has put more distance between itself and its peers. It finished September with 454 billion Dominican pesos ($9.61 billion) in assets, equal to 33.8% of assets in the country’s banking sector. It also increased deposits and loans, which allowed it to post 5.02 billion pesos in EBITDA and 4.88 billion pesos in net income through the first nine months of 2017.
