When BlueOrange Capital first announced a partnership with IDB Invest in April 2017, it said it aimed to bring up to $1 billion in financing to Latin America and the Caribbean over the next several years. Now the firm is nearing first close on a 10-year fund for up to 600 million euros ($707 million) and putting together a pipeline with targeted investments in agriculture, education, healthcare, infrastructure and financial services.
